Rise Growth Academy alumni, Velotix, has received strategic investment from Barclays

In today's world, vast amounts of data flow through digital pipelines. Powered by AI, Velotix is a data security platform that seeks to eliminate risk and automate policy management, and was founded in 2020 by Dr. Adi Hod and Uriel Ekstein. Velotix was introduced to Barclays in 2023 through the Rise Growth Academy (RGA), a 10-week programme in which start-ups learn how to sustainably scale their businesses. During this collaborative period, Barclays saw the potential in the transformative power of Velotix’s data-security solutions which led to a strategic investment from Barclays. The Head of US Principal Investments at Barclays, Kester Keating shares: "During the Rise Growth Academy, the Velotix team spent time with a number of Barclays technical and business leaders working on both the product and company business plan. Barclays is pleased to support Velotix in its mission to revolutionise data security through both the Academy and now this investment as well.”
